Add Coaches

This article provides step-by-step instructions for Staff on how to add Coaches to Hats & Ladders.

What You’ll Need:

  • Your Login Card from your Supervisor/Administrator. (optional)

Program Role Overview

Staff: Staff manage the Hats & Ladders implementation at their site. They can manage users and view site progress in reports. 

Coaches: Coaches work directly with youth to help them make progress on their work readiness goals. They can add climbers, create assignments and manage their groups progress.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Log in to your Hats & Ladders account.
  • On the left-side panel, click “Users”.
  • Select "Coaches".

You can also click "Go to Coaches" in the Get Started section to manage your Coaches directly from your dashboard.


 

  • Click “Add Coach”.
  • Enter the required details:
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Email Address
  • Click "Generate Password".
    • You may also create a custom password by typing in the empty box.

If your Coach is using a Google email, they will log in with their Google login credentials and a password will not need to be created for them.

  • Click the " " under "Assign to Groups".

  • Select all the relevant Groups to the Coach.

  • Click "Add".

  • Click "Download Login Instructions" to save a one-time use Login Card. 


Staff Add Coach Success

Download the Login Instructions here. To download new Login Instructions, you will need to reset the Coach's Password.

  • Share your Coach's login credentials using the downloaded Login Card. 
  • Your Coach can now access the Coach Dashboard and begin managing their Groups!
