Add Climbers

This article provides step-by-step instructions for Coaches on how to add Climbers to Hats & Ladders. It explains how to manually add users, ensuring that your Climbers are able to access their Dashboard.

What You’ll Need:

  • Your Login Card from your Administrator or Staff (optional)

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Log in to your Hats & Ladders account.
  • On the left-side panel, click “Groups”.
  • Select a Group
  • Select the "Climbers" Tab.

You can also click "Go to Climbers" in the Get Started section to manage your Climbers directly from your dashboard.

  • Click “Add Climber”.
  • Enter the required details:
    • First Name
    • Last Name
  • Click "Generate Password".
    • You may also create a custom password by typing in the empty box.

If your Climber is using a Google email, they will log in with their Google login credentials and a password will not need to be created for them.

  • Click "Add".

  • Click "Download Login Instructions" to save a one-time use Login Card.

Download the Login Instructions here. To download Login Instructions later, you will need to reset your Climber's password.

  • Share your Climber's login credentials using the downloaded Login Card. 
  • Your Climber can now access the Climber Dashboard and begin completing Assignments!
